We enjoyed our time at this house. Everything was as in the pictures. Host was very good with communication.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin by the lake this past weekend! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, clean, and incredibly welcoming. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning—waking up to the water and enjoying the quiet mornings outside was the highlight of the trip. The cabin itself was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend getaway. It was the perfect mix of relaxing and charming, with enough space to truly unwind and enjoy time with family. The location was excellent—private, peaceful, and perfect for disconnecting from the busy routine. Sitting by the lake in the evenings was unforgettable. We truly loved every moment here and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful lakefront escape!
The location is absolutely fantastic — Lake Anna is beautiful, the floating dock is a highlight, and the waterfront setting is exactly what you'd hope for. Daniel is a great host, super responsive and communicative throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. That said, there were a few things that didn't match our expectations. The house looks more spacious in photos than it actually is, and for a group of 9 the space felt cramped. The bunk beds were uncomfortable, and there weren't enough comforters — only small throw blankets were available for 9 people. The outdoor gear also needs attention. The kayaks and canoe were covered in dust and spider webs and didn't feel ready for use. Life jackets were limited to 4 for our group of 9, which is a safety concern. The deck and grill were dusty and needed a good clean before we could use them. Overall, the location and the host are genuine highlights. But the listing would benefit from better maintenance.
