Shows -
Each year "The Partnership" operates information
booths at a number of regional travel and sportsmen's
shows. "The Partnership" Brochures, are distributed
at each show. |

| Show
Participation - Members have
an opportunity to participate in the various travel
shows. While volunteers are expected to assist in promoting
"The Partnership", it still is an excellent
opportunity to make contacts, which can increase business.
Volunteers are expected to pay their own expenses. |

-Although it is the policy of "The Partnership
not to recommend one member's business over another,
callers are given a list of members located in the area
of their interest. |

| Government
Advocacy
- "The Partnership" regularly makes its voice
heard in Richmond, as well as locally, on legislation,
which affects the area. Staff members serve as a sounding
board for issues that affect business and tourism on
the state and local levels. |

- The web site has been set up to appeal to members
and non-members alike. Viewers may request a hypertext

| Brochure
- Each year the staff distributes tens of thousands
of brochures on the area. "Discover
Lake Anna, Virginia" is the "rack piece"
and is distributed in visitor centers along the east
coast. Copies also are made available to members of
"The Partnership". |

Releases
- "The Partnership" regularly issues press
releases to local, regional, and national publications
regarding various aspects of vacation and travel opportunities
at Lake Anna, Virginia. As well as legislative information
that affects the Lake Anna area. |

Partnership
- Lake Anna Business Partnership
was created as a non-profit entity in 2001 by a group
of business owners and home owners a like, to promote
travel and tourism in Lake Anna, Virginia. As well as
the improvement of business conditions and the interest
in keeping Lake Anna's beauty while promoting growth
to the area. |

Partnership is funded through membership dues, fund
raising events and grants. Travel and tourism development
is very dependent on private sector support. Call
